Falling Star Ranch Academy of Foundational Horsemanship is located near the hamlet of Dunster in the beautiful Robson Valley in north-eastern British Columbia, Canada, and is surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains and the Cariboo Mountains. Situated just off Highway 16 (Yellowhead Highway) between McBride and Valemount, the ranch is located along a major travel corridor between Jasper, Alberta, and Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Dunster is in close proximity to Mount Robson Provincial Park and only an hour’s drive from the world-famous Jasper National Park.
The hamlet of Dunster is a charming farming community with friendly people. Dunster offers an old-time general store with a postal outlet, feed store and gas pump, a fine arts elementary school, which is owned by the community of Dunster and used for a variety of events since the school closed its doors a few years ago, and a community hall, where dances, farmers markets and other social events take place throughout the year.
