Covid-19 update

Falling Star Ranch has a Covid-19 Safety Plan, social distancing protocols, and sanitizing plan in place as well as signage to comply with the provincial health regulations as well as to monitor risks.
This is a methodical and staggered process, but we are staying on top of the latest government policies.
The policies we have adopted are for our clients’, visitors’, and staff’s health and safety.
We make changes to our policies and procedures as necessary and in accordance with provincial health regulations.
– Maximum of 10 people in an arena at any time.
– Maintain six feet (2 metres) between people at all times.
– Bring your own riding gear (helmets, spurs, riding crops and whips, etc.).
– Tack and grooming tools specific to our school horses will be disinfected after each use.
– Parents of children are required to assist the child with grooming. Coach will tack the school horse.
– Parents of children who need help mounting are required to lift their child onto the horse’s back.
– Gates, door knobs, etc. will be wiped down with disinfectant several times a day.
– Workers, clients and visitors are required to use hand sanitizer before entering and leaving the arena.
– We have posted signage at our facility, including occupancy limits and effective hygiene practices as well as who is restricted from entering the premises, including anybody with symptoms.
We now offer not only individual lessons and semi-private lessons, but also small group lessons. We also offer video lessons. Please visit our website at https://fallingstarranch.ca/video-lessons/ for more information.
We have spots in our mentorship program starting in April and are available for clinics, both at Falling Star Ranch as well as at other facilities.
New training horses are also welcome.
